Accessibility statement

We want everyone, including people using assistive technology, to be able to read our guides and use our calculators.

Our commitment

foundationsage aims to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA for the content and tools we publish. This is an ongoing effort rather than a one-time fix — we review new pages against these standards before they publish and revisit existing pages as issues are found.

What we've implemented

  • A "skip to content" link at the top of every page for keyboard and screen-reader users.
  • Real <table> markup with <th scope> headers for every cost table, instead of styled divs — so pricing data reads correctly with a screen reader.
  • Decorative icons carry aria-hidden="true" and focusable="false" so they don't clutter assistive-technology output; nothing meaningful is conveyed by icon alone.
  • Keyboard-operable navigation, forms and calculator controls, without mouse-only interactions.
  • Text and background colors checked for contrast against WCAG AA thresholds.
  • Layouts that reflow for zoom and small screens rather than requiring horizontal scrolling.

Known limitations

Some older pages may not yet fully match every criterion above — for example, a source or partner link opened from within body copy. If you hit a barrier, tell us where and we'll fix it; see contact below.

Third-party content

Where this site embeds or links to third-party tools, fonts, advertising or partner sites, we do not control their accessibility and cannot guarantee it meets the same standard.

Report an accessibility issue

If you use assistive technology and something on this site doesn't work the way it should, email info@foundationsage.com with the page URL and what happened. We read every report and treat accessibility bugs the same way we treat a broken calculator.
